KTC Master 27M1 Plus 27‑inch 2K 400Hz Ultra Fast IPS Gaming Monitor LaunchedKTC has introduced a new 27‑inch gaming monitor, the Master 27M1 Plus, aimed at competitive gamers who demand very high refresh rates. The monitor is listed at a starting price of 2,499 yuan (approximately 353 USD, 326 EUR, or 29,500 INR), with sales starting on December 11.

KTC Master 27M1 Plus Specifications

The Master 27M1 Plus is equipped with a 27‑inch 2K (2560 × 1440) Ultra Fast IPS panel that delivers a native 360Hz refresh rate. An overclocking mode can boost this to 400Hz. The monitor offers a 1ms GtG response time when OverDrive is enabled, and supports Adaptive Sync to maintain smooth gameplay and eliminate screen tearing.

The display covers 99% of the sRGB color space and 96% of DCI‑P3. It is factory‑calibrated to achieve a Delta E of less than 2 for accurate color reproduction. The monitor also supports HDR400 and can reach a peak brightness of 400 nits. To reduce eye strain, KTC has implemented DC dimming and hardware‑level low blue light technology.

The monitor features a five‑level OverDrive system, allowing users to fine‑tune motion clarity according to their preferences. KTC includes dedicated picture presets for console gaming, casual play, and competitive FPS titles. A six‑axis color calibration system provides precise adjustment of red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, and yellow. There is also a dark enhancement function that improves visibility in low‑light scenes without washing out bright areas.

Design and Ergonomics

The Master 27M1 Plus comes with a fully adjustable stand that supports height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and rotation. The screen can tilt from ‑5° to +35° and can be rotated into portrait orientation. The stand also integrates a foldable headphone hook and a precision angle scale. KTC includes anti‑glare side shields in the box to help minimize reflections in brightly lit environments.

Ports, Power, and Warranty

For connectivity, the monitor provides two HDMI 2.1 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, each capable of driving the panel at 1440p and up to 400Hz. It also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB 2.0 port, and a Mini USB port. The monitor weighs 5.7 kg and consumes under 90 watts during normal operation. KTC backs the Master 27M1 Plus with a three‑year warranty.

Other Recent Gaming Monitor Launches

In related developments, MSI has recently released the MAG 274QP X24 gaming monitor featuring a 2K 240Hz QD‑OLED panel, priced at about 499.99 USD (roughly 462 EUR or 41,800 INR). ViewSonic has also launched the XG323B 4K OLED gaming monitor, which offers a dual‑mode configuration delivering 165Hz at 4K and 330Hz at Full HD.
