Samsung has introduced a new niche tablet designed specifically for children. The Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition arrives with a tall display, robust parental controls, and a child-friendly design.

Design and Kid-Friendly Accessories

This model follows the much older Galaxy Tab A9+ Kids Edition and brings several playful upgrades. It comes with a thick, colorful protective case that helps safeguard the tablet from drops and bumps. Samsung also includes a special touch pen and a key ring featuring an animal character called CroCro. In addition, the package contains bright stickers with various Samsung Kids characters.

The tablet runs a dedicated Kids Mode, allowing children to interact with CroCro, Cookie the Chef, music fan Lisa, and other characters in a controlled digital environment. This mode is designed to make the tablet engaging for kids while giving parents more control over what their children can access.

Display and Performance

The core hardware of the Galaxy Tab A11+ remains essentially the same as the regular version. It is equipped with an 11‑inch LCD screen offering a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a smooth 90 Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the tablet features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. It can be configured with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. For additional space, there is a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 2 TB, making it suitable for storing a large number of apps, videos, and educational content.

Battery, Cameras, and Audio

The Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition is powered by a 7040 mAh battery, which supports 25 W fast charging. This should provide enough endurance for extended use throughout the day, even with demanding apps or video playback.

The device includes an 8‑megapixel rear camera and a 5‑megapixel front camera, suitable for video calls, online classes, and casual photography. Audio is handled by a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support, aimed at delivering an immersive sound experience. A 3.5 mm headphone jack is also present for wired headphones.

Price and Availability

The Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition has launched in Australia at a price of 429 Australian dollars. This is approximately 289 USD, 268 EUR, or 24,080 INR, placing it in the mid-range segment for children’s tablets.
