Mercedes is now rolling out the MBUX 3.3 over-the-air software update to more than 700,000 vehicles worldwide.

The update introduces a dedicated Amazon Music app, along with Dolby Atmos support for Amazon Music, Audible, and Tidal. It also adds support for the IMAX Enhanced format with DTS:X audio for Ridevu by Sony Pictures, improving the in-car cinematic experience.

The update includes a new Calendar app with unified login and integration across productivity tools to make it easier to manage meetings and schedules from inside the vehicle. Drivers can initiate Microsoft Teams calls directly from the app, and voice control can be used to request a briefing or an overview of the day.

The new Gamepack offers a curated collection of retro-style mini-games. These are designed for quick entertainment during short breaks or while the vehicle is in motion where local regulations and safety allow.

Enhanced Voice Assistant

The MBUX Voice Assistant now supports additional vehicle settings that can be adjusted by voice. Mercedes has not detailed exactly which settings are included, so drivers will discover the new capabilities once the update is installed in their cars.
