POCO is preparing a major launch event in Bali on November 26, where the POCO F8 smartphone series will make its debut. New tablets are also scheduled to appear at the event: the POCO Pad X1 and the POCO Pad M1. Both devices will be introduced alongside the F8 phones and are outlined below.

POCO Pad X1: Lightweight Tablet with Flagship-Level Display

The POCO Pad X1 has already been teased, revealing a lightweight design and powerful hardware. The tablet is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, paired with a 3.2K display that supports a 144 Hz refresh rate. This combination suggests strong performance for both productivity and entertainment.

The device appears to be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Pad 7, which originally launched in China in October 2024. While that makes the underlying hardware a bit older, the Xiaomi Pad 7 was well received, so the POCO Pad X1 should still be very competitive.

POCO Pad M1: Large Display and Big Battery

The POCO Pad M1 is expected to come with a 12.1-inch display featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate and 2.5K resolution. This larger panel is aimed at media consumption, multitasking, and possibly light productivity tasks.

Powering the tablet is a substantial 12,000 mAh battery, which should deliver very good endurance even with the high-refresh-rate screen. The Pad M1 is believed to be similar to the Redmi Pad 2 Pro, introduced earlier in the year, but with some key differences.

Inside, the Pad M1 is rumored to use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, balancing efficient performance with good power management. Camera specs are modest but practical, with an 8 MP sensor on both the front and back. The tablet is also expected to support 33 W fast charging, allowing the large battery to recharge in a reasonable amount of time.

Audio and Overall Positioning

Both the POCO Pad X1 and POCO Pad M1 are reported to include quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, enhancing the multimedia experience for movies, games, and music.

While exact pricing has not yet been officially revealed, the two tablets are positioned as affordable yet capable devices, combining strong displays, modern processors, and large batteries at a competitive cost in their segment.
