Realme Pad 3 Leak Hints Epic Comeback for Budget Tablets

Realme has been absent from the tablet market for more than two years, but that pause now appears to be ending. A fresh leak indicates that the company is preparing to introduce the Realme Pad 3, its first tablet since the Realme Pad 2, which launched in 2023. The information comes from well-known tipster Abhishek Yadav on X, who claims the tablet is scheduled to debut in India either in December 2025 or January 2026.

Two Variants With Similar Specifications

If the leak is accurate, Realme plans a simple lineup for its return to tablets. The Realme Pad 3 is expected to arrive in two versions: one with 5G connectivity and one with Wi‑Fi only. Both are said to share almost identical hardware. The 5G model reportedly carries the code RMP2501, while the Wi‑Fi-only version is listed as RMP2502.

Realme is also keeping a familiar color strategy. Both variants are rumored to launch in Space Grey and Champagne Gold. Storage and memory options are expected to be the same across both models: either 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage, or 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage. For most buyers, the main choice will likely be whether they need mobile data connectivity.

What We Still Do Not Know

Beyond these basic details, little else has been confirmed. There is still no reliable information about the display size and type, the processor, battery capacity, or charging speeds. To compete in today’s market, however, Realme will need to offer substantial improvements over its last tablet.

The Realme Pad 2 used a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, which only supports 4G networks. It featured an 11.52‑inch 2K LCD panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an 8,360 mAh battery with 33 W charging. Those specifications were respectable in 2023 but are beginning to look dated, especially as brands such as Xiaomi and OnePlus have raised the bar in the mid-range Android tablet segment.

Expectations for the Realme Pad 3

For the Realme Pad 3 to stand out, a modern 5G-capable chipset, a higher-quality display, and faster charging will be the minimum expectations. The focus on connectivity and larger storage options at least suggests that Realme is aiming to position this tablet more competitively than before and to reestablish itself as a serious player in the Android tablet market.
