Focus on Sustainability
Apacer states that this initiative is in line with global sustainability objectives. A 2022 report from the OECD notes that the world produces around 353 million tons of plastic waste each year, with packaging accounting for nearly 40% of it. With the Eco series, Apacer aims to help reduce this load by giving discarded plastics a new purpose in consumer electronics.

Competition in Eco‑Friendly and Secure Storage
Other manufacturers are also moving toward more sustainable and specialized storage solutions. Meanwhile, a new ultra‑mini SSD from another brand is drawing attention for its compact size and security‑centric design, aimed at users who work with confidential data.
